Will gas supply increase inline with gas demand, regionally and globally? Or could parts of the world experience supply shortfalls, pushing up prices or prompting governments to take steps to force demand into line with available supply? Or could productive potential grow faster than demand, with gas bubbles, price declines and investment downturns paving the way for future gas supply shortages as results? In the paper are presented actual and future tendency in gas trade in the different region in the world. The authors indicate at the differences between the producers and the consumers of gas, which are connected with infrastructure of gas systems. They give also information about world gas reserves, natural gas production by region and regional gas supply potential by 2030.
