About the Journal

Polityka Energetyczna - Energy Policy Journal is published by Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The journal is a forum for the exchange of ideas in the field broadly defined as energy policy in Poland and worldwide. The journal has been published continuously since 1998.
Since 2016, the journal has been indexed in the SCOPUS database.
The journal has adopted the traditional scholarly publication model which involves researchers, publishers, peer reviewers, editors, and libraries.

The journal provides a forum for scientists from Poland and around the world. The published papers are available in an open repository. Articles are published in English with Polish title, abstract, key words and captions of figures and tables added. All submitted manuscripts undergo fair, constructive and comprehensive peer-review provided by at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field (the Editorial Board selects reviewers according to the “double-blind review” principle). Authors are asked to indicate competent persons to review their manuscripts. Please note, however, that this will only be considered as a suggestion.

Publication Charge Policy
The Publisher does not charge any fees for the publication of an article, nor does it provide any remuneration to authors.
Fees or Article Processing Charges (APCs) are not requested from the authors at any point of the peer review and publication (no submission fees, publication fees, and other fees related to the processing of the manuscript).
All papers published in Polityka Energetyczna - Energy Policy Journal (current and archive) are fully available on journal's webpage.

Open Access Policy
The journal is an Open Access journal that allows a free unlimited access to all its contents without any restrictions upon publication to all users.
Articles published in our journal are provided under the Creative Commons licence CC-BY-SA 4.0.

Repository policy
Editorial System allows to archive several versions of an article from the moment of submitting it to the system, through versions corrected after reviews, to publication on the journal's website:

• Submitted version,
• Accepted version (Author Accepted Manuscript),
• Published version (Version of Record).

Papers suitable for publication in Polityka Energetyczna - Energy Policy Journal are those which:

• contain original work – the main result is not published elsewhere neither by the authors nor somebody else, and is not currently under consideration for publication in any other journal,
• are focused on the core aims and scope of the journal,
• are clearly and correctly written in English.
